Make Dinner Time funny for Your Toddler

Getting a toddler to eat can be a constant battle. One day he seems unable to stop eating and the next day he does not want to eat anything. One day she likes eggs and the next day she hates them. At this point, young children continue to learn about food (what they like and do not like) but also test limits and learn about social rules. Your developing mind plays a big part in this, so making lunchtime more fun can be very helpful for your child to learn how to eat healthy and for the whole family to eat more peacefully.

1. Let your child choose what to eat
Let your child help you choose food at the grocery store. This can be a good opportunity to find exactly what your child likes and teach them the names of different foods.

2. Let your child join the cooking process
Let your child help you in the kitchen. Include your child in the preparation of the meal. Give him an apron, a chef's cap and ask him to be your assistant. Let it pass the food you need so that you wash or cut it. Also, let him mix the ingredients or give him a piece of dough for him to love. Children prefer to eat foods prepared by themselves.

3. Create funny food
Cut your child's food into fun shapes. One of the easiest ways to make a young child eat well and enjoy mealtime is to prepare creative meals. Even something as simple as a pancake or a sandwich can be fun if you cut it in a unique way. All you need to get started are common cookie cutters and a sharp knife.

3. Add some dipping sauces to your child's food.
To make your meal even more fun, add creative dipping sauces in plastic bowls suitable for toddlers and let them experiment.

5.Presents food in different ways. Make a mountain of grated food. In addition to giving them a different and interesting way, it will be easier for your child to take food and chew.

6.Grow your own vegetables. If you have the means, let your child help you grow vegetables in your garden. Watering fruits, vegetables and herbs with spray bottles and collect them by wearing cotton gardening gloves will help your child become more interested in the food he or she will eat before beginning to prepare it.
